European house borer

European house borer (EHB) (Hylotrupes bajulus) is a destructive declared pest of seasoned coniferous timber, including pine, fir, and spruce. It can cause structural damage to houses and buildings if it infests susceptible roof timbers, door and wall frames, flooring, or other pine articles.
