The department supports new, established and prospective exporters with facilitation of overseas trade missions and trade exhibitions, facilitation of inbound buyer visits, export capability program (mentoring), advisory services through TradeStart consultants and advocay for market access.

Trade missions

Are you a WA agribusiness looking to enter and grow in international markets?

The department's Export Capability Building Program is designed to equip Western Australian agribusinesses with the essential skills, knowledge, and confidence to enter and succeed in international markets.

Offering a range of in-person and online fundamental sessions including webinars, roundtables, and workshops, the program enables agribusinesses to gain insights into international markets and engage in peer-to-peer learning and networking.

The Export Capability Building Program covers topics such as:

  • Pitching to international markets
  • Understanding market/industry dynamics
  • Doing business in countries with different business cultures
  • Navigating freight, logistics insurance, financial and regulatory processes.
